Bible Seminar in May

From May 20th to 22nd, we held a Bible Seminar at Good News Charlotte Church with Pastor Byungju Lim from Good News New Jersey Church as our guest speaker.

As we prepared for the seminar, we were reminded of Abraham, who lived within God's promise. We held onto the Word that through the Charlotte Church, many people in Charlotte would receive salvation and blessings. With this faith, we believed that God had already prepared hearts to receive the gospel.

To invite people to the seminar, we began house-to-house evangelism and established outreach points centered around the downtown bus terminal. Through evangelism, we were able to meet many people whom God had prepared, and before the seminar, we had opportunities to share the gospel through Bible studies.

On Sunday, new visitors came to church, and we were thankful to worship together and share the gospel with them. It became a precious time to witness God's work and grace.

Pastor Byungju Lim, the guest speaker, delivered messages centered on the gospel throughout the seminar.

On the first day, he spoke about how our thoughts are different from God's thoughts, emphasizing that as long as we trust in our own thinking, we cannot truly believe the Word of God On the second day, through John 8:44, he shared that what comes from our hearts is not from God but from Satan, and through this message, he clearly delivered the gospel.

On the final day, through John 8:56, he gave a detailed message about the death of Jesus Christ and His eternal sacrifice for sin.

After each message, we had a time of personal fellowship with the new attendees. During this time, we were able to review the gospel they had heard, share conversations together, and take time to reflect more deeply on the Word in their hearts.

Through this seminar, we were able to meet many people whom God had prepared, and we desire to continue sharing this gospel with them.

According to God's promise given to the church and His servant, we believe that the gospel of God will continue to be preached through the church, reaching many hearts. As we think about people being freed from the burden of sin in their hearts and coming into true rest and peace, it fills us with great joy and hope.
