From October 8 to 10, Good News Philadelphia Church held a three-day Bible Seminar with Pastor John Choi as the guest speaker. In preparation for the event, church members reached out to their community by sending “Dear Neighbor” letters and personally visiting nearby business areas to distribute flyers. With the help of short-term missionaries, many people were invited to the meetings—and by God’s grace, about ten new guests attended each session.
The members testified that this fruitful result was not because of their own efforts, but because God was pleased with the seminar and allowed everything to take place according to His will. Some attendees came faithfully for all three days, listening intently to the messages and rejoicing after receiving salvation.
During the seminar, Pastor John Choi shared powerful testimonies about God’s faithfulness throughout his life—how he was called to the mission field, miraculously saved from a scorpion sting, and how God led him back to church and into missionary training after a time away. His heartfelt stories deeply moved the audience, giving them renewed hope and inspiration to trust in God’s guidance.
One attendee, a young man named Bradley, joyfully shared his experience, saying that after hearing the gospel message, he was so happy that he danced when he returned home. He later joined the church’s Sunday service and continues to attend regularly, growing in his new faith.
Through this Bible Seminar, Good News Philadelphia Church experienced abundant grace and thanksgiving. The event became a source of great joy for all members as they witnessed how God continues to work powerfully in people’s hearts through His Word.
