The evening service on October 7, held at Mahanaim, opened with vibrant performances, including the Memphis Bell Dance Team’s “Say Yes” dance and musical pieces by the Music School students and the New York Church Choir, which softened hearts before the message.

Before preaching, Pastor Park expressed deep gratitude to God for leading him to visit New York once again.

“I’m so happy to see you all here in New York. This is such a great church—more than capable of saving the entire city! Our church may have looked small at first, but now our mission is one of the most powerful works of God in the world.”

Preaching from Acts 3, Pastor Park spoke about the life of faith that moves through prayer and trust in God’s work.

“In our life of faith, we often realize only later that it was Jesus who was working all along. Peter and John themselves had nothing, yet the Jesus who lived within them had everything. When we face difficulties or feel helpless, we must open our hearts toward God. He never lies, and He always hears our prayers.”
“I wasn’t always a man of great faith, but whenever I asked God, He answered me. Through such experiences, my faith grew little by little. I encourage you—when hardships come, sincerely ask God. He will surely listen.”

Pastor Park Visits Good News Manhattan Church

On October 8, Pastor Ock Soo Park, founder of the Good News Mission, visited Good News Manhattan Church and led a special fellowship meeting for Bible School graduates. About 200 graduates and congregation members attended the gathering, which began at 10:30 a.m.

Before the message, Pastor Song Choong-hwan of Good News Manhattan Church shared the testimony of how their congregation obtained their current sanctuary.

“A few years ago, I went to Pastor Park for fellowship and said, ‘Pastor, our church is struggling financially.’ He told me, ‘God will surely give you a church building in Manhattan—go and buy a big one.’ At first, it felt impossible, but Pastor Park continued to help me fight my unbelief and led me to trust God rather than my circumstances. Just as the Israelites ate manna every day in the wilderness, God helped us daily. I’m deeply thankful to the servant of God who helped us experience Him so personally.”

Graduate Yoon-ok Kim also shared her moving testimony.

“When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I fell into deep despair. But through that illness, I met Pastor Park, discovered God’s heart, and experienced a complete change in my life. Later, through my online ministry ‘Coffee & Fellowship,’ I began inviting women to hear the gospel, and many of them received salvation. Through this, I realized just how powerful the gospel truly is.”

“Living as Little Jesuses”

Finally, Pastor Park preached from Romans 6 on the theme “Living as Little Jesuses.”

“We must remember one thing—we have received the forgiveness of sins. Once we lived following the desires of the flesh, but now we must live according to the heart of Jesus who dwells within us. When our hearts become one with His, amazing changes occur. In this generation, we are to live as ‘little Jesuses.’ When you preach the gospel, people will receive salvation, and the Holy Spirit will work powerfully through you. Most people are deceived by Satan and live according to their fleshly desires, ending up in darkness and despair. But we have received the greatest blessing—forgiveness of sins. You are not ordinary people. You have received something far greater than being a president—you are one with Jesus Christ. So don’t be deceived anymore. Walk with Him daily, and live as ‘little Jesuses,’ guided by His will.”

Through Pastor Park’s message, attendees were filled with hope and gratitude, realizing that although they are nothing by themselves, God has given them the greatest gift—forgiveness of sins—and the faith to preach the gospel. Many left with the firm conviction that through the Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, God will use them to win all of New York for Christ.
