By the grace of God and under the guidance of the church, a mission team was dispatched to Belize and successfully concluded a Bible Seminar filled with many testimonies. The seminar was held from November 6–8 at the Kings Park Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Samuel Park from the Orange County Church serving as the guest speaker.
Although the weather forecast predicted rain throughout the event, God graciously held back the rain, allowing attendees to participate without interruption. Over the course of the three nights, a total of 37 new people joined the seminar, including three local pastors—one of whom brought several members of his congregation.
From the first day to the last, Pastor Park delivered a clear and systematic message on the meaning of sin, common misunderstandings about it, the purpose of the law, and the Gospel. He also explained through the sin offering why there is no way to salvation except through the sacrifice of Jesus. One participant initially insisted that he still had sin, but after Pastor Park personally spoke with him and explained how Jesus had taken away his sins, he joyfully confessed that he no longer had any sin because Jesus had already taken them away.
Following the seminar, the team has continued to reach out to both attendees and those who could not attend, guiding them to join the church. In addition to the main event, the mission team held various outreach activities, including visits to a senior center, youth ministry meetings, a women’s gathering, and the Korean Culture Day events. Through the church booth at the Korean Culture Day, two individuals connected with the team and later attended the Post Bible Seminar.
Volunteers expressed great joy each day as they met people, shared the Gospel, and collected many testimonies throughout their time of service.
The mission team shared, “We are truly thankful to God and the church for granting us this opportunity. Please continue to pray for us and for the church here in Belize.”
