Hebrews introduces Jesus as the Son of God. It is teaching how the offering of killing sheep ends through Jesus Christ being crucified on the cross and dying. At that time there was no bible besides the law book from the Old Testament, so people received prophecy and guidance mainly through angels. Hebrews Chapter 1 was recorded to break away from relying on angels and to lead people by faith in Jesus Christ.
It says that all angels are sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation. Angels cannot save us or lead us. They were given to simply serve us. Today, the word is spoken through Jesus who is the Son of God. The Words which created the Heavens and the Earth came in the form of flesh, and that is Jesus. If we wish to be established strongly in faith, we should not put our hopes in anything besides Jesus.
Satan deceives us into thinking that our faith will become established if we do something diligently with our heart. That is why we wrestle with ourselves and stumble, and then fall again as we struggle with ourselves. Satan makes us fall into ourselves so that we are not able to look upon Jesus all our lives. If we discover the will of God revealed in Hebrews, we will be able to become free of ourselves and truly serve God. Through Jesus Christ I believe all the walls that is blocking us from God will be crumbled so that we can become people of faith.
