To prepare for a full day that begins at 6 a.m., participants rose early, moving together to awaken both body and mind.

It was a joyful time in which attendees could first fill their hearts with God’s Word at the start of the day. From early morning, many gathered eagerly to listen to the dawn message.

ree

The fourth-day early morning message was delivered by Pastor Young-Joo Park of Good News Cheonan Church. Preaching from Romans chapter 9, he explained that when we remain focused only on “what our eyes see,” our hearts begin to question and challenge God. He asked participants whether they were living according to visible circumstances or holding onto God’s Word and promises. Through the story of the four lepers, he testified that when we live according to God’s Word, God works powerfully in our lives as well.

Immediately following the dawn service, a prayer service for the sick was held. Those who came carrying sorrow and illness went back with peace and hope in their hearts.

Ordination of Elders

ree

In the afternoon, an ordination service was held in which ten brothers from churches across the United States were ordained as elders before God and the church. They expressed their desire to be used preciously by God as servants of the church beginning in 2026.

Don Henely from Los Angeles, who was ordained that day, shared:

“When I received salvation three years ago and first came to church, I never once imagined I would become an elder or deacon. This is clearly not because of me, but because of God. I was a failed man, but now I have become a completely new person. When the pastors laid their hands on my head and prayed, it felt incredible. Until then, I always thought, ‘I am not worthy.’ But in that moment, I felt, ‘God wants me,’ and I was so thankful. I am grateful that God is using me.”

Baptism Ceremony

More than 250 people gathered to receive baptism, symbolizing that after receiving the forgiveness of sins, they have died with Christ and now live by Jesus Christ.

ree
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.”

Each winter camp, many come forward for baptism, and once again it was evident that God is faithfully at work.

Ezekiel from El Paso shared:

“I always viewed my life through the lens of inadequacy and failure, and I pitied myself. I had no hope for life. But after receiving salvation and being baptized today, I was filled with hope and great joy through God’s promise. Before entering the water, Pastor Jung Ja-yang told me, ‘Today is your funeral. Today, you die.’ At that moment, God’s promise entered my heart: ‘Not I, but Christ lives in me.’ I sincerely thank God for allowing the Dallas Winter Camp. I saw that God is truly at work here, and I realized that it all began with one person believing God’s promise. Through faith, Pastor Ock Soo Park established Good News Church, and that gospel reached even a miserable person like me and saved me.”

Group Fellowship and Gospel Classes

Group fellowship was conducted in seven languages—Korean, English, Spanish, Burmese, Chinese, French, and Vietnamese—while Gospel classes were offered in Korean and English.

Wa Kyaw from Fort Wayne shared:

“I came with my mother this time with no expectations, just to spend Christmas with her. But as I listened to the pastor’s message, peace came into my heart. I realized this Word is truth. No one is perfect in life, but one thing became clear here: before God, I am perfect—not because of what I have done, but because of what God has done. God has washed away all my sins. I am no longer a sinner. I am truly happy.”

Than Twe from Fort Wayne added:

“First, I want to say that I am the happiest person in the world. During this camp, my son was sick, and seeing my wife unhappy made my heart heavy. Then the pastor shared Numbers 14:28—that God does according to what He hears. If we say things are difficult, they become difficult; if we say we are happy, God makes us happy. As I shared this Word with my wife, I realized I had always spoken only what I saw and felt. That’s why I couldn’t be happy. Now I am happy. I thank God for letting me hear this Word at the camp.”

Evening Performances and Testimonies

The final evening opened with Memphis Bell’s powerful performances of “This Is Me” and “The Greatest Show.” The message of hope conveyed through music and dance was met with enthusiastic applause.

Next, Pastor John Choi of Good News San Diego Church shared his testimony. While serving as an overseas volunteer in Liberia, he was bitten by a scorpion and was near death. Through a phone call with Pastor Ock Soo Park, who reminded him of Isaiah 40:31—“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”—his heart was restored, and his life was saved. Today, he serves as an evangelist bringing the gospel to those suffering in sin.

“When everyone said I would die, Pastor Park alone spoke hope and God’s Word to me. I thank him for connecting my heart to God’s heart and leading me. He is my benefactor of life.”

Final Drama and Closing Message

The final drama depicted the story of Pastor Kunda, who translated “I Was Freed from Sin This Way” into Arabic. After meeting the gospel through the Christmas Cantata, he devoted his life to translating the book before passing away. His love for the gospel and deep respect for Pastor Ock Soo Park moved the audience profoundly, especially the final scene in which he embraced Jesus.

In the closing message, Pastor Ock Soo Park repeatedly emphasized that only the gospel can save us from sin.

“Believe in Jesus! Through Jesus, we have received the forgiveness of sins. We have been redeemed by His blood! Sing that song loudly! When you say your sins are washed away, Jesus will rejoice the most. He will say, ‘Yes, that’s it!’ You are all righteous. God delights in you. Let us boldly come before God and give thanks!”

As the hymn “Redeemed, redeemed, the Lord Jesus has redeemed my sin—hallelujah!” filled the hall, participants clapped and sang together.

The declaration, “You are all righteous,” remained deeply engraved in the hearts of those concluding the camp, giving boldness to their steps. Though the camp has ended, the gospel heard here will continue through each person’s life, spreading across the United States as a new work of life. The camp may be over, but the work of the gospel continues.
