Revelation 2:1 “To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands”

Like how there are seven lamps on top of the lampstand in the tabernacle in the book of Exodus, the Apostle John saw seven golden lampstands in a revelation from God on the island of Patmos.

Like how the seven lamps lit up the inside of the Holy Place in the tabernacle in the Old Testament, in the New Testament, the seven golden lampstands represent the church, and the church shines and lights up the world with the light of the gospel.

Jesus Christ is the lampstand in the Holy Place in the Old Testament that becomes the light for the dark souls who are wandering and do not know where to go. In the same way, the body of Jesus Christ in the New Testament is the church, and the church has become the light that has the role of brightly lighting up the dark world.
