The door of the tabernacle is made up of purple thread, blue thread, scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. When you pull back the curtain of the door and enter in, you are inside the tabernacle. Once you enter into the courtyard of the tabernacle, the altar appears right in front of you. Anyone who enters inside the tabernacle will be able to see the image of the lamb that shed its blood, died, and was burning to ashes for the sins of the people. The lamb burning on the altar points to Jesus Christ, who was nailed on the cross and died for our sins instead of us.
After man sinned, he left God and lived apart from him. Man hated sin at first, but became used to sin after living with it for a long time. So man has become so used to eating and drinking with sin. Unrighteousness is working in all the places that man enjoys. Sin always suppresses our hearts, and it blocks our hearts every time we want to go before God. Sin condemns us with our conscience. It torments us and makes us lose confidence.
The wall of sin made from the sins we committed blocked us from God. When the way to go to God was not open, we had no choice but to live in darkness. The Lord loves us and wanted to quickly free us from sin so we could return to him. So he arranged a way for us to go out to him, no matter what sin we have committed, no matter what darkness we may be in. The way to go out to God is Jesus Christ.
