Tabernacle Lectures (139) The perfect mediator

Jesus overcame the temptation of the devil. God also wants us to overcome the temptations of the devil when we are tempted. Jesus Christ, who is our mediator, knows precisely about our circumstances and what kind of person we are when we are tempted and fall. Jesus knows about us, and he is praying for us.

And even though we are weak, make mistakes, and fall into sin, Jesus has saved us perfectly so we are missing nothing to come before God. He has made it so there is not even a little deficiency to always stand before God. He died for us on the cross, and he is also praying for us. So we can always boldly go out to God through the name of the Lord.

The altar of incense in the tabernacle represents Jesus Christ, who is our mediator. It is made of acacia wood, which allows us to see Jesus is a person who came in a weak body and is the mediator who makes us stand us before God.
