God loves us, so he could not bear the wall that was between him and us. (Romans 3:23) It says, “for all have sinned”. Everyone has sinned, but if you do not realize your sins, going out before God is not a problem. But when the law comes and you realize your sins, the grace to resolve your sins will surely follow.
The reason why the story of the tabernacle comes out twice in Exodus is because the law to make humans realize their sins came down twice. The people of Israel sinned when the law first came down to earth in Moses’s hands, so Exodus had to record a second time the story of the tabernacle that forgives our sins and opens the way for us to go out before God. We can know more of God’s heart through the same story being written twice in Exodus, that God wants to open the way for us to be free from the law.
The real reason the tabernacle was built was to save us, who were suffering in sin through the law, from sin. The tabernacle of the Old Testament is teaching sinners how to wash their sins. In the same way, Jesus Christ is the power of God who washes the sins of the souls who cannot go out boldly before God because of their sins.
