Genesis 2:23 “And Adam said: This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”

Adam was happy when he saw Eve, who had come from his body. He was not satisfied looking at the animals, but he was happy when he saw Eve and he loved her. It was because Eve was a part of his body. In the same way, it is telling us that we must come from Jesus Christ.

People think that God will be pleased if they live a good life and keep the law, even if they do not believe in God. Man has nothing good. The good that comes from us is good when we look at it, but when God sees it, it is not good. In several places in the Bible, God said the only thing inside of man is evil, and there is no good.

In God’s eyes, true good and holiness does not come out of man, but from Jesus. The things that come through Holy Spirit, after we receive the forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit enters our hearts, are good things. Only the things that come from God are good, and that is what God is pleased and satisfied with.
