Tabernacle Lectures (104) Like almond blossoms

After being born again and as I live in Jesus Christ, I was very tempted in many things. Money, desires, greed, etc. – there were many times these horrible things dragged my heart around. But every time that happened, I went to Jesus and thought about the Lord. My heart was filled with the Lord as I testified of His words, and before I knew it, I saw my evil thoughts disappearing.

Jesus, who is the lampstand, radiantly lights up our hearts, and while we are looking at the Lord, our hearts are unable to fall into darkness. When I think about years past, I did not fall into temptations because I had a stronger will than others. It was because Jesus, who is the light, protected my heart.

The Lord led me to live a bright and shining life in Him and protected me. While we meditate on Jesus Christ and his light lights up our hearts, I believe without a doubt that we will never dwell in darkness.
