Tabernacle Lectures (105) Ornamental knob

The lampstand is made from hammering one talent of gold. The base, shaft, bowls, ornamental knobs, and flowers extend from the one lump of gold, and the six branches come out of the sides of the lampstand. Each branch has bowls shaped like almond blossoms and ornamental knobs. And when they made bowls in the shape of almond blossoms, God told them to make the ornamental knobs before the flowers.

Most people have a lot of interest in the flowers, but they do not know much about the ornamental knobs which support the flowers. The ornamental knobs do not show themselves and are hidden, but they are the foundation that makes the flowers bloom beautifully and bear fruits.

Jesus appears directly in the Old Testament, but he appears as several models or shadows in the Old Testament. So we can discover Christ hidden in several things. The invisible ornamental knobs supported the flowers so that it could propped up, and this is pointing to Jesus Christ, who is supporting us so the flowers of our spiritual life can bloom beautifully.
