God told them to make bowls shaped like beautiful almond blossoms on the lampstand. They were made just to hold the flowers in place through the ornamental knobs. In the same way, our spiritual life is also just Jesus Christ becoming our ornamental knob, so we can bear beautiful flowers in our spiritual life.

The reason we can live by faith is through Jesus Christ. When we remember Jesus in our hearts and are led by the Lord, we walk by faith in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. But if Jesus does not lead us, we will quickly be tempted by the devil and can only fall.

Jesus has become the ornamental knob of our faith, so he is leading us to bloom flowers in our spiritual life. That is why we can praise God today. If we have beauty, it is because of Jesus. If we are holy, that is also because of Jesus. If we have righteousness, that too is from Jesus Christ.
