The trouble we are going through is not continual. The saints in Thessalonica experienced trouble, but Jesus Christ who is coming again gave them hope and faith and allowed them to overcome. Currently as well, if we serve God with faith, we can overcome troubles. We must remember that there is a brief trouble on earth for us to take part in His glory.

Eating the bread that is arranged on top of the table of showbread which is covered with gold represents us eating bread and freely having fellowship with God. Like the word that says, “I will sup with him, and he with me,” this shows the joyous table of fellowship where we are seated together.

Through the table of showbread, God is showing us his eternal promise that is through Jesus Christ. The path that Jesus walked on is an example for us. While we are walking on the path which Christ walked on, our lives will change into the form of the glory of Jesus Christ.
