Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd.” He also said, “I am the door. You must enter through the door.” The people who do not want to enter through the door can never stand before God. Those who have not been washed of all their sins through the door are no different from those who believe in other religions, because they remain in the state of trying hard and working hard to wash their sins. The reason the height of the linen curtains was 5 cubits, or 2 meters 25 centimeters, means that God is clearly asking us to go through the door.

When Simon Peter met the Lord at the Sea of Galilee, he deeply realized he was a sinner. He said, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” and discovered who he was. Just like that, we can see who we are when we meet Jesus Christ. When we are revealed in front of Jesus Christ, we can realize how false, evil, and dirty of a human we are. Without resolving our sins through the door, which is Jesus Christ, our hearts can never gain peace or happiness.

The wall of linen curtains was so high you could not climb over it. The wall plays the role of dividing the holy things from the dirty things, the clean things from the unclean things. Dirty things may be tolerated outside the walls, but only the holy things can enter inside the walls. So in order to enter into the Holy Place, you must realize the dirty sins inside your heart through Jesus Christ, who is the door, and you must throw them away. Once you reach the state where all your sins are washed as white as snow through the blood of the cross of Jesus Christ, you put on holiness, so you can now stay inside the Holy Place without any discomfort or burden
