The rest of the tabernacle is made of white fine linen. So the door quickly stands out with its blue, purple, and red thread, and fine woven linen. Jesus does not follow the flow of people, and goes in the opposite direction of the world, so Jesus’s life easily stood out. In other words, Jesus was wearing totally different colors from the world.
Jesus walked on the sea, healed the sick, and raised people from the dead. He fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread. Jesus’s colorful life is not saying he lived a different life from us, but that our hearts are different from his heart. The words that came out of Jesus’s mouth are completely different from the people of the world. The words that came out of the mouths of the scribes and Pharisees were nice and beautiful words that came from the thoughts of man. But the words from Jesus’s mouth were not words from the thoughts of man.
Jesus’s words never came from the thoughts of man. So the ones who heard his words were surprised. Some of those words were words that people could never accept. So a heart to hate and kill Jesus came up inside them.
