Blue thread, scarlet thread

The blue thread shows Jesus Christ is God. The scarlet thread shows Jesus Christ is man. While Jesus was completely God, he also was completely human. One of the reasons Jesus was rejected by the Jews when he was on earth was because Jesus was clearly a Son of Man in the eyes of the Jews, but he pointed to himself and said he is the Son of God. So the Jews said, “Blasphemy!,” went against Jesus, and wanted to kill him.

Jesus was clearly the Son of God so he could only say that he was the Son of God. Because he was the Son of God he was born in the body of a virgin, he demonstrated the power of God, he rose again from among the dead, ascended into heaven, and he sits down on the right hand of God. Jesus was perfect and had the power to do everything. Jesus is God and in order to be the Savior of man, he had no choice but to come in the body of a man. Jesus defeated the Devil as a man. He defeated sin with the body of a man, and he rose again.

Jesus was the first human to defeat Satan. Satan had never once lost in a fight with man. But when Satan met Jesus, he was defeated by Jesus, who is a man. We have the authority to enjoy all the things Jesus accomplished on behalf of humans after he became human.
