When you open the door of the tabernacle and enter in, right away you see the altar. And on top of the altar, you see the lamb that died for us. That scene is what we must see when we enter inside Jesus Christ. The wrath that God was going to rain on us, the judgment and punishment that we were supposed to receive, God poured all of that on Jesus Christ. Therefore, the death on the cross means our death. Jesus nailed on the cross means we were nailed on the cross. That is why we do not need to be afraid of sin anymore when we look at Jesus, who was nailed and died on the cross.
When we look at Jesus Christ who was nailed on the cross, we can boldly and joyfully go out to God, even if we are weak, lacking, and we had committed sin. If we do not look at the cross of Jesus Christ, who was sacrificed for our sins, then sin will push us down and we will not be able to live a bold and peaceful life of faith for even a moment.
Even if someone says he believes in Jesus, but if his heart is suppressed and he has a guilty conscience and has a fearful and tormented heart because of sin, then he must look at the cross of Jesus Christ. When we realize that the lamb shed its blood, died, was burned, and received all the punishment for our sins, then we can go out boldly to God and live a blessed and joyful life.
