Tabernacle Lectures (47) Sacrificial offering

Even though people today have service before God, they have no altar. They do not have a true altar that burns the things they think are precious. So many churches are being run with the thoughts of man. But we can see that the ways, opinions, and experiences of man are replacing the works of God. These sacrifices are not the sacrifices that God is happy about.

God gave his most precious son as an offering and nailed him on the cross. Just like a clean lamb that had no blemish or marks was offered and burned, I believe that when we burn all the good and beautiful thoughts inside of us and only the will of God governs us, then God will accept us with joy.

I hope that the thoughts and desires of the flesh are burned on the altar in the hearts of each and every one of us in every church, and that the thoughts of the flesh crumble away and only the good will of God lives and works.
