In God’s eyes, all the records of our sins are erased, because His Son Jesus Christ was nailed on the cross and shed his blood. When Jesus Christ the Lamb of God died on the cross, he did not just forgive all of our sins, he wiped out the entire record of our sins that God had recorded.

Hebrews 10:17 “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

Our sins were recorded on the horns of the altar, but the blood of Jesus Christ completely blotted that out. So God can never find our sins anywhere. God did not just call us righteous even though we still have sins, but he calls us righteous because we have truly been made righteous in God’s eyes.
