Grace is not a word you can just use anywhere. Most people think that they received grace if they are touched or thankful when they hear the word. But if you are rewarded for even a little good that you did, that can never be grace. The word “grace” is used on the condition that no effort or reward is included, but you still receive something.
Grace is something we receive freely. Grace has two sides: the side that pours grace, and the side that receives grace. The one who pours grace has to prepare grace regardless of the one who receives grace. The one who receives grace has to not put in his own effort or hard work in order to receive grace.
Numbers 6:24-25 “The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: the Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee”’
God does not want to give his precious blessings as a reward for someone’s hard work or efforts. Because if God does not give everything as grace, then only the ones who are able can receive the blessings, but those who are not able cannot receive the blessings.
