Tabernacle Lectures (59) 5 cubits

I did not receive grace before God because I sinned less, worked hard, put in a lot of effort, or because I diligently volunteered. It was all up to God, who saved a dirty and filthy sinner like me. Even after salvation, I was still weak and lacking, and I had a lot of flaws. But God constantly loved me, protected me, and led me. God led me so I could stand strong before him.
The power to overcome sin is also not through my determination or my will. Because God gave me the strength to overcome the temptation of sin. God decided to make the altar with the size of 5 cubits so that no matter what direction we looked at the altar, we would see 5, which is the number of grace. He wanted us to come before him to receive grace.
God sees the lamb burning on the altar. We can boldly go out before God when we remember the grace of the Lord who perfectly saved us. Being able to live a blessed life is 100% God’s grace. I hope you can serve God with a heart of thankfulness, like Paul said in his testimony, “By the grace of the Lord Jesus, I am what I am.”
