All our sins have been washed at the altar with one sacrifice and we have become righteous. Then, we take a step forward towards the Most Holy Place of God. But after we pass the altar, we come to the bronze laver, which is in the middle of our path to the Most Holy Place. The laver has the role of saving the priest from death by washing his hands and feet after he serves God at the altar. The bronze laver is where we wash our hands and feet, not where we take a bath.
Some people ask, “After I receive the forgiveness of sins and I sin, what should I do? Is it okay to sin however I want after I receive the forgiveness of sins?” When we receive the forgiveness of sins by the blood of Jesus, it is not that some sins are washed and some sins are not washed. All of them have been washed.
1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
The blood of Jesus Christ has cleansed us from all sins. If we rely on the blood of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ washes away clean the sins of our past, present, and future all at one time.
