When people who have been wandering in sin for a long time receive salvation and have the precious experience of being washed of all their sins once and for all, they are amazed. When all our sins are washed as white as snow and are resolved all at once, we can say we are righteous. And we stand in the assurance that "the just shall live by faith."
Some people think since they received the forgiveness of sins that now it is okay to go ahead and sin. So some of those who have received forgiveness of sins, once in a while, they satisfy their fleshly desires and live a more evil life than before they received the forgiveness of sins. They are in a state where they do not even feel guilt when they sin.
1 John 2:1 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not."
The "children" it talks about here are the born again Christians who have received the forgiveness of sins. This verse tells us that it is also possible for born again Christians to sin. And it also tells us that God does want born again Christians to sin. If born again Christians fall into sin, what should they do? 1 John speaks about those things clearly.
