When we look in Genesis, we can see that Adam and Eve sinned when they were not with God. Also, Eve sinned when she was not with Adam. If Eve had been with Adam, Satan would not have been able to deceive them and they would not have sinned. Being away from God was the root cause that made them sin. In the same way, for us to not sin, it is not that we should try hard or make up our minds to not sin, or feel guilty and tormented because of our conscience, or that we have to be sad. The only way for us is to get closer to God.

But it becomes easier for Satan to deceive and drag us when we sin. First, when people sin, they do not like to look at the Bible or pray. Satan makes our hearts far from God, and then we fall into sin.

1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

When we sin, it is not that we should take care of our sin, but we should go out to our advocate, Jesus Christ. With the power of the blood of our advocate, Jesus Christ, through faith we must accept the fact that sin cannot block our relationship with God. That is when our fellowship with God is restored.
