Exodus 30:17-18 “ Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “You shall also make a laver of bronze, with its base also of bronze, for washing. You shall put it between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. And you shall put water in it”
The most important thing to remember in our spiritual life is that faith in the redemption of Jesus Christ has broken down the wall of sins that was blocking the relationship between us and God. When we sin and our hearts are pressed down by sin, then we become afraid and cannot go before God boldly.
One of the reasons we must receive the forgiveness of sins is because the person who has sin cannot go boldly to God, so therefore he cannot receive the power or blessings that come from God. If people have no problem in front of God, then God’s heart flows into them, and the Holy Spirit flows abundantly into their hearts.
When this happens, then everything that person talks about or thinks about or sees is not through himself. Rather, he thinks about things with the heart that God gives him, he sees things with the eyes of God, and he speaks with the mouth of God. The heart to think, the mouth to speak, and the eyes to see are all things God gives us. But when sin entered, everything became crooked. To make our thoughts and our hearts healthy, the sin that is covering our hearts must be washed and the wall that is between us and God must be destroyed
