Exodus 30:19-20 “For Aaron and his sons…when they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not”
When Aaron and his sons went into the tabernacle to do the work of the high priest, they did not die and were able to live by washing their hands and feet with the water from the bronze laver. When we try to serve God after being born again, Satan tries to block our relationship with God with the sins we commit. When we remember the blood of Christ and enjoy what he has done for us, we are able to not die spiritually.
In the beginning when Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, there was no wall of any kind in their hearts between them and God. But because he sinned, Adam closed his heart on his side. To get rid of the wall of sin that was blocking us from having a relationship with God, God sent Jesus Christ to the earth.
Because Jesus Christ has now resolved all our sins on the cross, God’s heart is open to everyone.
Isaiah 44:22 “I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and as a cloud, your sins: return to me; for I have redeemed you.”
Like this word says, God on his side has opened the door of his heart wide open, and he is waiting for us.
