Exodus 38:8 “And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.”

The laver was made of bronze, but where did they get that material? At the time, there were the women who assembled at the door of the tabernacle, and they melted their mirrors and made the laver and its feet. When we preach the gospel, Satan places many things as obstacles in our hearts. Satan works so the grace of redemption does not flow inside our hearts, and so our hearts cannot be freed from sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. One of the things Satan does is he makes us look at ourselves.

When we try to go out before God, we should not look ourselves, at whether we do well or not, but we should look to God. Spiritual life is not about believing in yourself. Because we are weak and lacking, we go forward with faith in Jesus Christ, who is the living Son of God. We received salvation regardless of our effort and hard work, but 100% by the grace and accomplishments of Jesus Christ.

When we try to not sin or do good, Satan interferes and we fail. Therefore, to gain the forgiveness of sins, we must look at the work that Jesus Christ accomplished 100%. When we put expectations on our good actions or our accomplishments, we can only be disappointed when we do wrong.
