Moses made the tabernacle through Aholiab and Bezalel. The Israelites had brought their possessions before God: gold, silver, copper, jewels, wood, etc. And at the time, there were the poor women in Israel who assembled at the door of the tabernacle. These women were not fancy women like others. Most of them were widows or were living in difficulty, so they offered themselves and came to the door of the tabernacle to volunteer.

These women did not have any jewels or belongings, so they had nothing to give for the precious work of building the tabernacle. All they had was their mirrors, which they used to look at themselves and brush their hair. They had used the mirror to make themselves look beautiful, but they offered their precious mirrors which they really needed to God.

Aholiab and Bezalel melted those mirrors and made the bronze laver. The women who served at the door of the tabernacle were carrying their mirrors to see what was wrong with themselves every day. But they gave them to God, so they could no longer see what was wrong with them or their own flaws. Now their mirrors became the bronze laver which the priests used to wash their hands and feet.
