The laver is showing us a deep secret. Just because the women who gather at the door of the tabernacle look at themselves, it does not mean their flaws are fixed. Their mirrors were given to God and made into the bronze laver that washed the hands and feet of the priests and allowed the priests to not die.
Whether we have a lot of sins or a little, all our sins have been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The size of the bronze laver is teaching us this. Today, many people have not realized the meaning of the bronze laver, and they have no choice but to look at themselves and see their flaws, like before the women gave their mirrors to God.
If we have dirt on us, we should wash it with water. But the sins in our hearts are not washed just because we look at them. Those sins were already dealt with 2000 years ago by the blood of Christ. We must accept with faith the fact that Christ has eternally perfected us.
