2 Corinthians 3:17-18 “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

In the Bible, Peter’s two sides are shown very clearly. One side of Peter was the one that denied Jesus Christ and even denied the Lord before the maidservant. But in Acts, Peter boldly preached the words of God and God used him to save 3,000 people in one day. We can see that Noah obeyed God and prepared the ark. But another side of him we see is that he got drunk and was sleeping naked in his tent. Abraham has the image of boldly going forward with faith, but we can also see his image of lying and saying that his wife is his sister and sleeping with his servant girl.

Most people have two sides in front of God. When we look at their human side, they are all dirty and awful. But on the other side, when we see how God worked in them, they are so amazing and precious. The spiritual lives of people today are like that: they have two sides.

There are times when the Lord holds onto us and we shine the light of Christ. And other times we look at ourselves and are grabbed by our thoughts and our very filthy and terrible image is revealed.
