As the lump of gold that had its own shape is endlessly refined by the hammer and hands of Aholiab and Bezalel, it loses its image and changes into the shape of a lampstand that God wants. From time to time, God allows this pain, or that suffering, difficulty, and sadness for the saved saints. God hits our hearts with those things and changes our hearts into a totally different shape.

God changes us not into the shape that we want, but into the shape that He wants. He is making us into a beautiful lampstand that reveals the image of Christ. Like the lampstand that brightly lit up the tabernacle in the dark, God makes us into the light of Christ that shines on the world that is covered in darkness.

God is even now endlessly hammering the saved saints so their self is taken off and the image of Christ is formed inside them. The lump of gold lost its shape and changed into the lampstand that pleased God. Our image changes in the same way. We are changing little by little into the shape that Christ wants. The Lord is showing us that we have ultimately been changed into a lampstand that radiantly lights up the dark world.
